  1. Hi – I cannot disable the Two-Step Verification, because THERE IS NO SLIDER next to the Two-step verification feature.
Everybody mentions this slider when I search the Goodge – I don’t have it there…

The only slider there is next to the Phone Number

    Thanks for your help

  2. Absurd – no way to disable two-factor nonsense in Yahoo email!

I don’t have and don’t want a ‘smart phone’ toward receiving a ‘security code’!

I don’t care to access TWO devices or emails when trying to use email per valid password!

Accessing email per different device – i.e. hotel lobby – is not ‘suspicious’ activity. Weirder yet – my very old Yahoo acct does not require this nonsense.

    I’ll use Gmail now …. ?!

  3. This doesn’t work because it redirects to a page that insists on verifying information and insisting on a 10-digit number.

These designers are not too smart because it is a much more likely that one could lose their phone (small and handheld) rather than their computer (big and clunky).

No sequence of steps should be recursive. A good programmer always builds a way out.

Unless, of course, the programmer wants to harvest and cell people’s cell numbers.

  4. Same problem as the others, unable to disable, now I find my yoigo mobile is charging me to receive the code to access my email account.
